Brazil has shown an increase in leather and skins exports
last April. 15.946 million Square meters of leather were sold to foreign
markets during the period, which means a growth of 2,3% in comparison to hides
traded in April 2015 (15.589 million). The analysis was carried out by the
Department of Commercial Intelligence at CICB (the Centre for the Brazilian
Tanning Industry) following a report from the Department of Foreign Trade from the
Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC).
