On Site Facilities For Customers

We at KTM provide lot of on site facilities for our customers so that they
feel ease, comfort and good working conditions in our tannery. Some of
the highlighted facilities for our customers are mentioned.

1)Inspection Room

At KTM we have Pakistan’s first ever-custom designed air conditioned room
for leather inspection. Electricity of this room has been maintained
keeping in mind standard light required for the inspection. Four
inspectors can inspect leather in this room at a time. 2) Guest House

At KTM we have fully furnished three-bed room guesthouse for our customers.
Staff at guesthouse is fully trained and can cook food of different tastes
and origins. Satellite TV channels from all over the world along with
internet/WIFI facility is also available in this guesthouse.

3) Recreational Room

For pur fitness conscious cust4fher and guests we have available at out
guesthouse along with a common room for playing table tennis.

As Khawaja Tanneries has world class product line up therefore to attract new customers and to give information about product line-ups we are exhibiting in all of the major leather fairs around the world for the last 10 years. Research & Development

Research and development is of great importance in
today leather business as the level of competition,
production processes and methods are rapidly
increasing. It is of special importance in the field of
marketing where one has to keep an eagle eye win
modern trends and analyze the needs, demands and
desires of their customers. We at KTM have invested lot of time, efforts and finances in building good RiD infrastructure in the tannery. In the year 2012 KTM has spend around USD 0.5 Million at R&D. We have state of the art research and development laboratories for both dyeing and finishing department, which are continuously developing new ideas for production, color ranges and articles development. Leather Testing Lab KTM established a state of the art in-house analysis. Laboratory equipped with modern .testing ‘ perform several physical tests like Colour & Rub Fastness, Elongation at break, water proof ness and Colour detection through colour box. Dyeing Lab At the R&D dyeing lab we have following facilities available 11 Drums in different size for dyeing, which can accommodate small sample leather lots. 1 state-of-the-art Italian technology stainless steel drum, Finishing Lab At the finishing R&D lab we have following facilities available 2 Spray booths 1 Drying Chamber Color testing chamber Burn Test Chamber We also have designated R&D team for the finishing and dying labs who are continuously development new articles according to customer requirement.
